the date is late this time as well…. getting heaps of mail from sun that saying that I should look at Solaris 10 now, but there is new version.

I’ve no detailed info, too. We’re also waiting for it, we want to install Update 4 on eight Sun Blade 6000 X6250 Intel Clovertown Modules next week….

Solaris 10 update 8/07 (aka. S10U4) (GA) release is planned for Sept. 20-th.

Solaris 10 Update 4 8/07 available for download on Sun’s website. Also available as I just saw as a torrent (sumotorrent.com). Thanks for the person who did that, Sun’s download is way too slow !!!
The whole system is waY!!!!!! too slow. I don’t know what happened between 1/06 and 8/07 but it really slowed terribly.

We run 8/07 on a lot of production systems (Sparc an X64) an we have no problems at all.
