Just tried to install Solaris Express Developer Edition 9/07 on a Dell Latitude D600 today. Wow, this was like installing MacOS on a Macbook, everything runs out of the box, display, ethernet, sound. Just have to check WLAN and BT, now.

I think you need at least 1GB of memory in the Laptop to get it smoothly running. I gont a D600 left over at home too so I might give it a try. I doubt there is or will be a driver for the intel pro wireless 2200 (which is mostly used in the d600 series) for Solaris 10.
